The Tri-Valley AAU Organization is under the YMCA of the Greater Tri-Valley Association, which has branches in Oneida and Rome. We service youth and families in the surrounding communities, such as Sherrill, Vernon, Verona, Canastota, Oneida, Holland Patent, Camden, Rome, New Hartford, Westmoreland and Oriskany to name a few. This allows us to have kids from those surrounding communities participate in AAU basketball, where as in the past there wasn't too much if anything available for them. One of our goals is to bring these kids together so they can learn more than basketball from one another. They can learn how to interact with people who are from different communities and backgrounds then themselves. This will help prepare them for life outside of there communities, when they move on to bigger and better things.
